The brooch you see here was created completely spontaneously.
And perhaps that is exactly why each one is a little different.
Pearls from Shanghai.
Czech crystal.
Embroidery from our atelier.
Deadstock crystals by Preciosa.
And pieces of fabric that have already had a story of their own.
When I create these brooches, I never know exactly what they will look like. I lay all the materials out on the table, put on an audiobook or a podcast, switch off my mind and let my hands take over.
I choose, arrange, add, take something away…
and suddenly, it is finished.
No drawing.
No plan.
No second identical piece.
It is my little game with spontaneity.
Perhaps that is why I can never create two identical brooches. Each one is born in a different moment, from a different mood, from different materials. Each has a character of its own.
And because I love the idea that nothing should go to waste, every brooch comes with a little scarf made from leftover La Femme MiMi fabrics.
One piece. One moment. One little original.
I hope you love them as much as I love creating them. 🤎
