The brooch you see was created completely spontaneously.
And perhaps that is exactly why each one is a little different.
Pearls from Shanghai.
Czech crystal.
Embroidery from our atelier.
Deadstock Preciosa crystals.
And pieces of fabric that have already lived a life of their own.
When I create a brooch, I never know exactly what it will look like. I spread all the materials out on the table, put on an audiobook or a podcast, stop thinking, and let my hands decide.
I choose, arrange, add something, put something else aside…
and suddenly, it is finished.
No sketch.
No plan.
No second identical piece.
It is my little game with spontaneity.
Perhaps that is why I can never create two identical brooches. Each one is made in a different moment, in a different mood, from different materials. Each one has its own character.
And because I love the idea that nothing should be unnecessarily lost, every brooch comes with a small scarf made from leftover La Femme MiMi fabrics.
One piece. One moment. One little original.
I hope you love it as much as I do when each one comes to life. 🤎
